- Manufactured using a hardwood core combined with an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic coating. This co-polymer coating is extremely tough and resilient. Woodbury Waterproof shutters are suitable for wet areas like a shower or bathroom, although unsuitable for exterior use.
- ABS is used in a variety of other manufacturing applications where strength and resilience is a key feature, for example it is used to make Lego, protective headgear and whitewater canoes amongst other things.
